Asbestos Abatement

Asbestos poses significant health risks, making proper removal essential. Connecticut law requires that asbestos abatement is regulated according to federal NESHAP rules and additional state rules. Removing asbestos safely and properly is AA Asbestos' top priority.

Steam Pipes, boilers, and furnace ducts insulated with an asbestos blanket or asbestos paper tape may release asbestos fibers if damaged, repaired, or removed. The backing on vinyl sheet flooring and the adhesives used for installing resilient floor tile such as vinyl asbestos, asphalt, and rubber may also contain asbestos.

Cement sheets, millboard, and paper used as insulation around your furnace or wood-burning stove could also potentially contain asbestos. If you have asbestos cement roofing, shingles, and siding, these may release asbestos fibers if broken or damaged.
